Registration is open for Hill College’s 2024 Kids College

Kids College students in science labRegistration is open for the 2024 Kids College at Hill College. This year, all three campuses will host camps, including the Burleson Higher Education Center (BHEC).

The BHEC is hosting Kids College for the first time this year. Courses are geared toward 6th to 8th graders and will feature the facility’s state-of-the-art science labs.

At all three camps, students have a wide variety of classes to choose from that fall under the college’s four career pathways, Arts & Humanities, Business & Industry, Health & Public Service, and STEM. Tuition is $120. Lunch is included. Camps are held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Health & Public Service

(1st–5th grades) Criminal Law for Beginners, Experiencing Emergency Medical Services, Future Nurses, Mini Fire Academy

(6th–8th grades) Cosmetology in Action, Criminal Law for Beginners, Experiencing Emergency Medical Services, Scene of the Crime

STEM

(1st–5th grades) Backyard Habitats, Ideas to Life with 3D Printing, Think Like a Botanist, Think Like a Scientist, Math Blasts, Walk on the Texas Wild Side

Sports
